About the Role:

DCY is seeking a Lead Technical Engineer. DCY is the corporate research division that focuses on advanced technology development for applications across all DCY product lines including Automotive, Lifestyle (consumer), and Professional. Technician Lead Engineer will work with an advanced real-time data collection platform in lab simulators and in vehicles which involves acquiring images, videos, ECG, EEG and other Biosignals to support the Machine Learning for our next generation driver monitoring systems.


This position will be located in Yerevan, Armenia, where the successful candidate will have access to world class tools and facilities.

What You Will Do:

  • You will be responsible for specifications design and implementation of HW mounting for advanced data collection equipment in our labs and vehicles. 
  • Provide technical support and support for operators on technical issues.
  • Work with monitoring systems, perform initial failure analysis, and escalate incidents to higher-level support departments.
  • Participating in development projects.
  • Resolving outages based on defined processes and product knowledge.

What You Need:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in IT industry or similar
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble and connect, disconnect mechanical, electrical equipment and PC’s
  • Ability to create documentation on the mechanical, electrical, network and software parts of the data collection and transfer system.
  • Comfortable with Windows and Linux workstations and peripherals (IPads, smartwatches, smartphones…)
  • Basic Linux scripting and command-line knowledge (enough to follow guidance from the remote tech support team for any issues)
  • Some computer networking knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash is a plus
  • Administration of Windows and Linux
  • Full responsibility for the performance of the laboratory and vehicle setup for data collection (Several desktops, many sensors, various communication interfaces).
  • Experience with various sensors (temperature, biosignals) with various interfaces (USB, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, use web-conferencing capabilities.
  • Ability to follow directions and instructions precisely
